Habit: Perennial Herb

The genus Zephyranthes or Rain Lilies is a group of bulbous ornamental plants. The plant live for more than two years, but bloom for just a short time each year. No special care is needed to grow them. Propagation is also very easy: by dividing bulbs. The beautiful funnel-shaped flowers are pink in color with green throat, but much smaller than Z. carinata or Pink Rain Lily. This plant is sometimes included under the order Asparagales and family Amaryllidaceae.
