Facebook is one of the most popular and fastest growing social media platforms. Nowadays, people mainly use it for business and marketing purposes. Some of you might have got an error message, while trying to create a user name for your business page: "You are not eligible to create a username". A page need to have 25 likes for creating a custom url. However, some of you might getting the same kind of error message again.

In this case, you should check the status of your Facebook profile. You should create a username for your profile first. Go here: Facebook Settings → General → Username


Click Edit and create a unique username. You should see 'username is available' with a green tick-mark. Sometimes, you may need to verify your account for creating a username. You can use mobile verification method. After creating a username for your profile, try to create your page's username. It worked for me.
